Today is Nanakusa. Nanakusa means the custom eating rice porridge in vegetables of the seven kinds.

The pust Nanakusa refers to rice, millet, barnyard grass, sesame, small beans.

The spring Nanakusa refers to dropwort, shepherd's purse, chickweed, turnip, Japanese radish, Gnaphalium affine, and Lapsana apogonoides.

The fall Nanakusa refers to Patrinia scabiosifolia, Japanese pampas grass, Japanese bellflower, pink, boneset, kudzu vine, and Japanese clover.

MR 03★Cars

The Piston Cup is the greatest Cup of racing sports. Lightning McQueen is a young and wizard at racer. He takes part in Piston Cup. He aims the Rookie of the Year for the first time in history of Piston Cup, but he cannot get trust of his friends because of his liberties, and he ignores all the pit crews' indications. Therefore he has an accident to blow out his tire just before he gets the victory, and he reaches the goal with King and Chick Hicks. They will be held the tie final race by Lightning McQueen, King, and Chick Hicks in California after a week.

MacQueen leaves to California by trailer. But MacQueen is thrown off the trailer on the highway, because Mack who is a MacQueen's manager drives with sleeping. So he strays into deserted country town on the rute 66. MacQueen is apprehended Sheriff by the speeding, and he is brought to justice by the destruction of the road. Doc Hudson who is a judge and the elders claims banishment from town, but Sally who is a lawyer lady and hotel owner stops it, and she urges MacQueen to be repaired the desolate road.

At first, MacQueen thinks only to go back to the race soon, but he begins noticing to relax his mind while he has a lot of times with the people in the town. Especially, MacQueen feels a friendship with Mater who is a wrecker at first time, and he holds a love to Sally who will take back lively town. In addition, MacQueen knows Doc is a legendary racer to have won three times at Piston Cup, and MacQueen feels hardships to friends in this town.

And, in the final day, MacQueen goes back to the race to get the support of the people in the town, and Macqueen shows to be able to afford the racing is nothing to a week ago, and he gets the victory!!!

MR 02★Mrs. Doubtfire

Daniel is a dubbere, and he can use the seven voices properly. He has a fuss with boss at work, and he is fired. Miranda is Daniel's wife, and she is an interior decorator. She was tired Daniel, because he had ability to only play child.

One day, Daniel makes a lot of noise with children and pets in Chris's birthday party. Chris is firstborn son of Daniel and Miranda, and he is 12 years old. At last, Miranda explodes with anger, and she decrees divorce. Lydia is Chris's older sister. Natalie is Chris's younger sister and she is 5 years old. Lydia and Natalie discourage, but Daniel is shocked more than them, because he dotes on his children. At result of judgment, Miranda has right of bringing-up. Daniel can't see his children only weekly.

While, Miranda begins to go together with Stu. Stu is a former steady. Miranda carries employment of housekeeper in the paper. Daniel knows it, and he changes elderly British lady by Frank's joint effort. Frank is Daniel's brother and a make-up specialist of movie, and he is homosexual. Daniel makes "Mrs. Doubtfire" known to Miranda, and he visits Miranda. He is liked to Mirenda, and he is employed as housekeeper. Miranda and children don't notice that Mrs. Doubtfire is Daniel. He brings up children strictly with cheating them. One day, Chris and Lydia notice that Mrs. Doubtfire is Daniel, but they know Daniel's mind and keep a secret.

In those days, Daniel is liked Mr. Lundy who is a president of television station, and he is invited staff meeting of new program at restaurant. But, there is held Miranda's birthday party in the same time and place. Daniel is obliged to go to restaurant, and he shuttles back and forth between 2 tables with changing. Daniel gets drunk, and he pulls a stunt to Stu, but Daniel's identity comes out to them. Miranda know Daniel's love to children, and she comes to terms with Daniel. He wins repute of host in television program, so he is good father.

Daigo is an orchestral cellist in Tokyo, but he gives up the road to be a player because of dissolution of the orchestra, and he goes back to his home town is Yamagata Prefecture, and he finds a job of the best requirement in classified ad. At once, he goes to take an interview, but what is the waiting to him, somehow, the office is old and carries the coffin. Sasaki who is a president appears before long, he doesn't glance a paper about Daigo's history, and he looks Daigo's face, and he decides employment soon. Daigo is taken aback and asks the job is what.

Daigo says, "What is the job?" Sasaki says, "You coffin." Daigo says, "I coffin?" Sasaki answers, "Ah, this ad is misprint. It is not 'travel helper'. It is quiet 'helper for go forth.' NK is the coffin what means 'Nokan' in Japanese." Travel helper is a worker to coffin remains. Daigo panics, because he doesn't think content of the job, but he takes on the work at Sasaki's mercy, and he says to take a job relates ceremonial occasion to Mika who is Daigo's wife.

With this, Daigo begins the daily round as a new coffin's worker, and he runs about the Syonai Plain with Sasaki in late autumn...

Daigo thinks a lady is beautiful, but is not lady, and a schoolgirl is hooligan, and dead mother leaves a young daughter, and grandmother yearn to put on loose socks, and grandfather is shown to get many kissing marks and dies a peaceful death... Daigo confuses at first, but he begins to show an understanding for the job without notice while he faces each other to death and parting in various circumstances.

Daigo comes out to Mika that he doesn't work a job related ceremonial occasion, his work is to coffin remains, because Mika has been mistaken, and she goes home and leaves to say "dirty."

Daigo loses his mother before some years, and his father disappears when he is a child. He shocks to leave her who is only family for him, but he has unshakable belief for the job, and he waits her to come back.

The season changes, when the spring will come in the Syonai Plain, Daigo begins to have complaceence and pride as coffin's worker. He has various news that is Mika's pregnancy, death of his childhood friend's mother, and death of his father unknown whereabouts for 30 years!!!

How will he face to precious people's life and death close to his as coffin's worker and a husband and a person?!

MR 06★Whale Rider

There is a village on the beach. The head of Maori had been succeeded a man for generations. The Maori believed legend of brave who come riding on the whale. But, Porourangi who was a head's oldest son, he had only Paikea who was a girl, and she was named same brave. Koro was a Paikea's grandfather, and he was looking forward to be born a successor, but he couldn't accept existence of Paikea.

When Paikea was 12 years old, Porourangi went back home. But Porourangi wouldn't be a head, so he become a worldwide artist in Germany. Koro would look for a successor from boys were 12 years old in the village, but boys weren't successful in the last examination that got a necklace made whale's tooth from the sea. After that, Paikea easily got a necklace, but it was laft Flowers' hand who was a Paikea's grandmother, because Flowers feard Koro was ill-tempered.

Presently, the family of whales were washed up on the beach from the bottom of the sea. Koro believed this was a hint of the close, and he tried to return the whales to the sea, but he couldn't budge the whales an inch. But, Paikea cansoled the whales, and she went riding on the whale to the sea. Paikea would sink in the sea, but she was pulled up safely. And at last, Koro admitted Paikea was a successor.

I was touched Paikea was a solmen cast of mind. I felt wonderful that Koro's love to Paikea, and Paikea would change Koro's mind by her honest feeling and action.

I examined about Maori. Maori is native New Zealander people. Maori decorates tattoo on their face and all over as body decoration, and it is different on village and status. "Haka" is folk dance, and Maori soldier dances before battle, and Maori dances "Haka" in greeting of welcome.

☆Cyclamen☆

These Cyclamen are at my home. Cyclamen is the native flowers of the Mediterranean Sea area. The flower season is to spring from fall. Cyclamen is famous the flower of winter. Japanese name is "manju of the pig" and "grass of the bonfire."

Cyclamen classify as dicotyledon, but Cyclamen actually shoot only one when shoot from the earth. Cyclamen blooms pink, white, red, yellow, and so on.

I intriduce the language of flowers. Red Cyclamen means jealousy. White Cyclamen means pure. Pink Cyclamen means longing.

Also, I introduce the kind of Cyclamen. There are Cyclemen africanum Boiss. et Reut., Cyclamen alpinum Dammann ex Sprenger, Cyclamen atkinsii T. MR 05★Groundhog Day

Phil (that he is a popular weather forecast reporter on TV) goes to Punxsutawney with Rita (that she is a producer) and Larry (that he is a cameraman). In this town every year, there is a tradition says that groundhog of mole awaked from hibernation augur coming of spring on February, 2nd. But, egotistic Phil complains about coverage of mole.

The voice that is radio’s DJ tells the festival awakes Phil at a.m. 6:00 and Phil displays ill-tempered attitude to Mother of tourist home and Ned (that he is a Phil’s classmate in high school days) met on the street and goes to circle of the town. When Phil’s party finish dry relay and will leave the town, they are involved situation that the road was shut by the snowstorm and the line was went dead. They unwillingly stay overnight again.

The next morning comes……radio’s DJ tells the festival as same the day before at a.m. 6:00, and Mother of tourist home greet as same the day before, and meet Ned on the street……those everything are same the day before. And they were shut by the snowstorm, and they stay overnight again. And same day begins again……

Phil finds only one that February 2nd day was repeated forever, and he has his own way everything to use that prerogative. But, when Phil makes advances to Rita and will have a sweet time, Rita gives Phil a slap. Phil is tired of that time labyrinth state while repeat it many times, and he tries to commit suicide, but he lives the next morning though he commits suicide every way.

Therefore, Phil mends haughty and offensive attitude so far for the first time and he changes to be as another man. The attempt was successful, and when Rita’s heart turns to Phil, Rita and Phil have a sweet night together for the first time. At the next morning, Phil awakes, Rita sleeps his side, and radio tells different morning that the day before.

In the story, wonderful place that Phil makes a fool of ordinary country town at first, but Phil becomes to see attractive town through his eyes at the ordinary day in there. The story is noticed us that enjoying an ordinary day is supreme luxury in our life.
